Metal Powder Bed Fusion
SLM, DMLS, and EBM processes generate ultra-fine metal powder aerosols during build, depowdering, and sieving. ATEX-rated extraction prevents explosion risks from reactive metals like titanium and aluminum.
Polymer SLS & MJF
Selective laser sintering and multi-jet fusion of nylon, TPU, and other polymers release fine powder and thermal decomposition gases. Combined particle and activated carbon filtration addresses both hazards.
Binder Jetting
Metal and sand binder jetting creates powder dust during spreading and depowdering. Localized extraction at the build chamber and breakout station captures particles before they become airborne.
Directed Energy Deposition
DED / LENS / WAAM processes generate intense fume from the melt pool. High-capacity source extraction handles the continuous fume generation during large-format builds.
Post-Processing
