Passive Separators
Built-in Protection for Safer Filtration Systems
We have 3 pre-separators and 1 post separator with another post separator in development. Pre-filtration
separators that protect your filters from destruction, extend filter service life, and maintain consistent system
efficiency. Triple protection for machinery, people, and environment.

Separator Types

Cyclone Pre-Separators
Used as pre-separators in processes with high levels of dust or as spark separators in grinding/laser processes. Air rotates in the separator, pushing particles out of the air stream. Degree of separation approx. 80% (10μm). Available in models CN 10 through CN 4000 for air flows from 250 to 5,100 m³/h. Material: steel powder-finished case, RAL 7035/5010.

Coarse Pre-Separators
Separates coarse parts from the filtration process by increasing cross-sectional area, slowing the flow rate so large particles sink to the bottom. Protects filters from destruction and increases service life. Available in 60L and 200L capacities for air flows up to 1,000 m³/h. Separates particles >1mm to >5mm depending on model.

Activated Carbon Separator
For processes that develop strong odors or unhealthy gas concentrations. The drum-shaped activated carbon magazines provide longer contact time with granulate compared to conventional cartridges. Increases overall system efficiency by up to 60% through lower pressure loss. Handles up to 1,500 m³/h with 150L activated carbon capacity.

FA Series Pre-Separators
Compact pre-separators for LN230, GL230, LN260/265 and GL265 systems. Modular design integrates directly onto the filter system, no additional floor space required. Purely mechanical gravity separation with aluminum mesh filter. Available in FA 10 and FA 20 models with connections for extraction arms or hoses.
How Pre-Separation Saves You Money
Without a pre-separator, coarse particles quickly clog expensive
filters, forcing premature replacement. Connecting a cyclone or coarse pre-separator reduces the load on the filters and extends filter lifetime significantly.
Cyclone separators capture 80% of particles at 10μm
Coarse pre-separators handle particles >1mm to >5mm
Activated carbon extends lter life by up to 60%
FA series requires zero additional floor space
Available for air flows from 250 to 5,100 m³/h
