Alsident Extraction Arms
Advanced Local Extraction for Cleaner Air
TBH offers the full range of Alsident local extraction products. Alsident System A/S is the
world’s leading manufacturer of local extraction in more than 30 industries. The
extraction arms and hoods capture pollutants directly at the point of origin.
WHY ALSIDENT?
The Gold Standard in
Local Extraction
Alsident extraction arms are constructed to be self supporting, with threaded pins and springs located within the
arm. This makes the extraction arm very easy to handle and position where needed. Arms can be easily
assembled and disassembled without tools. All plastic parts are made of shock-proof polypropylene (PP), all
aluminium parts are anodised, and all O-rings are maintenance-free.

Extraction Arm Systems
System 50
Suitable for air volumes from 45 to 85 mÂł/h. Ideal for smaller capturing demands, electronics industry, laboratories, dental sector, laser technology, trade schools, nail salons, and goldsmiths. Available in AL (aluminium), AS (antistatic/ESD), and Flex variants.
System 63
Suitable for air volumes between 60–120 m³/h. Used in areas requiring chemically resistant extraction arms, laboratories, chemical industries, schools, universities. Tubes and joints made entirely of white
Polypropylene (PP).
System 75
Suitable for air volumes between 80–180 m³/h. Used in laser technology, laboratories, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, food industries, and mechanical engineering. Available in aluminium (AL), antistatic (AS), and chemically resistant (CB) variants.
System 100
For higher air volume applications requiring larger diameter extraction. Ideal for welding, grinding, and industrial processes generating higher volumes of fumes and particulate. Available in AL, AS, and CB material variants.
System 25
Compact extraction system for precision applications with minimal space requirements. Available in three types for specialized point-source extraction in fine electronics and micro-assembly work.
Loc-Line Flexi 75
Flexible segment hose made of acetal copolymer. Suitable for extracting chips, smoke, steam, gas, and lubricating mist. Free overhangs up to 100 cm with 360° grinding and 150mm bending radius. Easy to maintain and vibration-stable.
Material Variants
The choice of material depends on the application area and contamination type.
Aluminium (AL)
For most standard applications with no special demands for chemical resistance or conductivity. Extraction arms consist of anodized aluminum tubes and joints of Polypropylene (PP). Joints available in white, red, or black.
Systems: 50, 75, 100
Antistatic (AS)
For environments with special demands for conductivity, ESD-sensitive electronics and explosive atmospheres. Equipped with earthing wire. Tubes feature conductive surface treatment, joints are conductive black PP. Tested per IEC 61340-5-1. System 75 AS also approved EX II 1 GD.
Systems: 50, 75, 100
Chemically Resistant
For areas with special requirements for chemical resistance due to aggressive fumes and substances. Tubes and joints made entirely of white Polypropylene (PP) for maximum chemical resistance.
Systems: 63, 75, 100

Key Features
Every Alsident arm is built for durability, flexibility, and effortless positioning.
Self-Supporting Design
Threaded pins and springs are located within the arm. The arm stays exactly where positioned. No external counterweights required. Easy one-hand adjustment.
Tool-Free Assembly
Arms can be easily assembled and disassembled without tools for quick maintenance and cleaning. Replacement parts readily available.
High-Quality Materials
All plastic parts are shock-proof PP, all aluminum is anodized, all accessories are powder-finished, springs are acid-proof stainless steel, and O-rings are maintenance-free.
Throttle Valve Control
Extraction arms can be equipped with throttle valves to regulate the volume flow for optimal capture efficiency at each workstation.
Multiple Mounting Options
Table mounting, wall mounting, ceiling mounting, desk panel mounting, and ceiling column options. Standard brackets for quick installation.
Capture Elements
Wide range of hoods, suction tips, suction columns, flat screens, and protective grids. Choose the right capture element for your specific pollutant and
process.
Precision Capture at the Source
Local extraction during the working process, right at the contamination’s point of origin, is the most efficient way of collecting hazardous substances. The wide product range meets various demands and is adapted to specific application areas. Due to their high degree of flexibility, Alsident arms can be individually adapted to any application.
